My background is in early childhood education and art education.  I was director of two day-cares, Stepping Stones and Saybrook, for 10 years.  I have been teaching in Mt. Diablo Unified School District for 17 years in both Kindergarten and Second Grade. I want my students to love school. I create a safe engaging environment ,full of student choice and exploration using their 21st century skills.  

Personal: I married my high-school sweetheart and have lived in Concord since I was 4 years old. I love to ski, hike and go to Cal Football and Basketball games. I love teaching and am looking forward to our partnership.
